it’s IRAP-Industrial Research Assistance Program, has contributed by way of a grant, to the successful completion of the original “proof of concept” MTP engine.

Marnoch Thermal Power is partnering with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology through its Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, who are providing technological expertise and a dedicated facility in their new Clean Energy Research Laboratory (CERL) building.
The Ontario Centre of Excellence for Energy has provided
funding to help develop the next generation of MTP engines in collaboration with U.O.I.T. This commitment will ultimately bring considerable benefit to the economy of Ontario.
The OPA has provided funding through their Technology Development Fund. The T.D.F “assists innovative energy technologies that will improve the supply and conservation of electricity - are in the pre-commercial stage - and require funding for development, demonstration or verification”
